The 2024 First Nations Economic Advancement Conference (FNEAC) will bring ideas on “Creating Connections: Expanding our Economic Opportunities” and relevant information to Indigenous economic development people in Ontario and beyond.
The Summit kicks off with an opening reception on September 16th where all delegates will get a chance to mingle and introduce themselves. From September 16-19 there will be fulsome discussions on a variety of capacity building topics that will be sure to meet the needs of many delegates who are in attendance. CREATING CONNECTIONS is a theme that many indigenous communities can relate to and plan for.
The CREATING CONNECTIONS Summit is open to all indigenous and non-indigenous people and organizations that want to learn about new economic development opportunities for indigenous communities and businesses across Ontario. This is a GREAT opportunity to meet indigenous decision makers, government officials, industry leaders and professional representatives who want to be involved with indigenous economic development and advancement.
In September 2023, OFNEDA hosted its Annual Conference in Niagara Falls which drew approximately 225 delegates that included Economic Development Officers, First Nation Chiefs and Councillors, Indigenous Business Owners, Government Officials, Industry Leaders, Corporate Sponsors and other dignitaries together for a value-packed agenda that exceeded all expectations.
