Wheelchair Vans for Personal Use
Accessible Minivans and Full Size Mobility Vans for Personal Use

We are passionate about helping Canadian families and individuals find the wheelchair accessible van that best suits their mobility needs. We understand that the purchase of a mobility van is a large investment and that the options can be overwhelming. MoveMobility’s mobility experts are here to help.

Budget

It's important to have a budget in mind while looking for an accessible van. New accessible vans may range from $60,000-$100,000. Not sure where to start? Give us a call.

Mobility Options

The wheelchair van conversion that will suit your mobility needs depends on factors such as whether the wheelchair user will drive, passengers seating, and more.

Rear or Side Entry?

Deciding whether you need a rear entry or side entry wheelchair van is a great place to start. Get in touch today if you'd like to discuss your mobility van needs.

Rentals are available from Winnipeg and Mississauga.

Yes, MoveMobility’s van rental program is available at our Winnipeg location only. We do not provide wheelchair van rentals outside of Winnipeg. Click here to see wheelchair van rental rates.

The MoveMobility Rear Entry conversion is available for Dodge Grand Caravans that are model year 2020 or previous. Vans must be no older than 3-4 years old, and have no more than 70,000 KMs. Contact us for requirements on converting pre-owned Dodge Grand Caravans.

Pre-owned Toyota Siennas or Honda Odysseys cannot be converted for wheelchair access.

If we have pre-owned wheelchair vans for personal use available, they will be displayed on our Vehicle Inventory page here.

The Rear Entry conversion (the modification) for the Dodge Grand Caravan typically ranges around $25,000. However, the cost of the conversion depends on factors such as the seating you require and how many wheelchairs will be transported. Contact us for more information about van conversion costs.

We do not purchase pre-owned wheelchair vans for the purpose of re-selling. We recommend listing your vehicle on private sale platforms such as Kijiji or AutoTrader. Buyers in the market for used wheelchair vans typically use these platforms to find a vehicle.

Dodge & Chrysler Grand Caravans

Available with the rear entry conversion, the Dodge Grand Caravan has proved to be the most popular accessible minivan in Canada. Thanks to its efficiency, flexibility, and affordability, fleets rely on this compact accessible van.

The newer model is the Chrysler Grand Caravan which can be converted to either a rear or side entry wheelchair accessible van.

Personal Financing

Financing a personal wheelchair van may be an option to help you get a mobility vehicle quickly. Wheelchair van financing allows you to have monthly payments that fit your monthly budget.

Third Party Funding Options

Third party funding for wheelchair vans is often available through government programs and private organizations. We may be able to recommend a funding program for you to contact to see if financial assistance is available.

MoveMobility can assist in recommending 3rd Party Funding Sources.
