MM Model: Mobile Mitigation Van

The Mobile Mitigation van (MM Model) is built on the Ram Promaster. 

Mitigation vehicles are used by programs that provide services such as overdose prevention, supervised consumption, harm reduction, mobile health, housing, mental health and addictions counseling, and referral services. 

The Mobile Mitigation Van provides a safe, and private space with sterile injection equipment. As a mobile supervised consumption site, the MM Model promotes safe injection practices, reduces needle sharing, prevents transmission of viruses and infections, and helps to prevent overdoses. 

The MM Model includes:

  • Individual desk pods for client privacy
  • Three individual desk pods with chairs, privacy panels, and electrical outlets
  • Mobile office space for healthcare or social workers to perform administrative tasks
  • Floor-to-ceiling storage cabinets for medical equipment and supplies
  • Overhead storage cabinets
  • Secure partition provides privacy between driver and rear compartments
  • Sink and countertop space
  • Wipe-clean aluminum for a clean, sterile environment
  • Rear Heat and Air Conditioning

Mobile Office Space

Configure your mobile office space to be equipped with everything you need to perform administrative tasks. A typical mobile office space includes:
  • Secured rolling chair
  • Desk space
  • Equipment/records storage

Client Privacy Pods

This van includes three individual desk pods for clients to use during safe substance use.

  • Desk space with privacy panels

Clean, Simple Environment

To be able to work efficiently when working with your patients, you need an organized and clean space.
  • Easy to clean cabinets, desks, and countertops
  • Floor to ceiling cabinets for medical equipment and supplies
  • Bright LED interior lighting

Power Supply

Additional power supply is optional at office desk and pod areas, which includes:
  • Conventional outlets
  • 12V Plugs
  • USB ports

Additional Options

Every outreach program is different. You can choose to include custom options in your vehicle, such as:
  • Sink
  • Additional power supply
  • Cab divider to provide privacy
  • An awning that provides a comfortable tent-like area for staff and clients

High Capacity Heat & A/C

In the Canadian climate, you need an interior heating and cooling system that keeps your patients comfortable, no matter the weather. You can control the air distribution from the rear controls.

Rear Compartment Lighting

Bright LED lighting provides a safe, comfortable environment for working with clients at any time of day.

Anti-Slip Steps

Durable, anti-slip running boards provide drivers and staff with an additional step to make getting in and out of the van safer. Their unique design prevents snow and ice buildup to minimize risk of slips and falls.
