You are the key driver in revenue and gross profit for the organisation. As directly responsible for the day-to-day functions of the operations team at MoveMobility your role focuses on optimizing processes, managing resources, and ensuring operational efficiency across, production, manufacturing, supply chain, and service delivery. You will drive the continuous improvement of processes and systems to maximize profitability, enhance performance, and achieve organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Being responsible for our Production: •You will spend 50% of your time working with the Production Manager to establish and maintain a production schedule aligned with company revenue and profit targets. •You will help coordinate with other operations departments to ensure seamless production workflows and timely delivery that meets customer expectations. •Partners with Human Resources and team leaders to recruit, hire, and motivate production team members. •You’re responsible to manage staffing levels to meet production requirements •Product quality is of utmost importance. You will set the bar for quality and be responsible to ensure adherence to all production policies and procedures, maintaining consistency and quality standards. •As Operations Manager, you will find opportunities to implements strategies to continuously improve quality and efficiency within production operations. •You are responsible to develop a long-range strategy for production capabilities. •You will work with OEM’s to obtain and maintain certification with their upfitter programs •You will collaborate with the engineering team to develop production manuals and resources for production efficiency. Directing our Supply Chain and Logistics: •You will oversee the Supply Chain team ensuring smooth procurement and inventory management operations. •You will help establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of materials. •You’re managing product demand and setting optimal inventory levels for uninterrupted production. •You are responsible for a sustainable supply chain and will evaluate and source alternative suppliers to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality. •As Operations Manager you will be responsible to oversee all aspects of warehousing, logistics and product delivery. Being responsible for our inhouse Manufacturing: •You will work closely with the Manufacturing team leader, ensuring operational efficiency and quality production as a key supplier to our production team. •Product quality is of utmost importance. You will set the bar for quality and be responsible to ensure adherence to all production policies and procedures, maintaining consistency and quality standards. •You are responsible for developing and maintaining a long-range strategy for manufacturing capabilities Directing our Customer Service Team: •You are directly responsible for overseeing the Service Manager and ensuring the department’s success. •You will establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Service Manager and service team to align with company goals of profitability and customer satisfaction. •You are responsible to set clear service delivery targets and ensures they are consistently met, balancing quality and customer satisfaction. •You will monitor and evaluate the quality of work performed by the service team, ensuring that customer expectations are exceeded. •You are responsible to develop and implements strategies to improve service quality, response times, and overall customer experience. •As a revenue stream for the company, you will identify new opportunities for service revenue growth to become a self-sustaining department.
