Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business across assigned B2B market segments including Health Authorities, Transit Providers, and other specialized sectors. This role involves prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting needs assessments, and guiding clients through the sales process from introduction to close. As a product specialist, you’ll make tailored recommendations, prepare quotes, and build long-term client relationships. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development, you’ll contribute to strategic growth while consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs.

Responsibilities

Sales and Client Acquisition • Conduct prospecting activities to introduce MoveMobility and uncover new business opportunities. • Qualify prospects using company-defined metrics. • Book meetings and product demonstrations with prospective clients. • Conduct thorough needs analyses prior to quoting. • Make product recommendations and suggestions based on client needs and value-added options. • Follow up with clients and prospects to advance the sales cycle. • Support or lead account and partner sales activities. • Prepare and provide floor plans for customer inquiries as needed. • Provide product quote details using quote configurator software. • Collaborate with Business Development Executive on prospecting, qualification, sales plans, and follow-ups. • Input all customer interactions into CRM. Sales Performance & Strategy • Meet or exceed KPIs including: o Weekly MCIs (Meaningful Customer Interactions) o New opportunity targets o Annual sales targets • Collaborate with VP of Sales & Marketing on sales forecasting and incentive planning. • Attend weekly sales meetings and provide reporting on account activity and market intelligence. • Provide insights and support to the marketing team. Client Relationship Management • Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships to build long-term value. • Effectively represent MoveMobility and communicate the company’s mission and solutions. • Team Leadership (Growth-Based) • Manage Sales Associates and/or Sales Consultants as the territory and team grows.

What Success Looks Like

You step into the role ready to engage prospects and build relationships across the country. Within weeks, you're consistently booking meetings and product demos, qualifying leads, and updating the CRM with high-quality interactions. You’re working closely with the Business Development Executive and providing Marketing with field insights that inform future outreach. Within a few months, you're exceeding your weekly MCI targets and generating a healthy pipeline of opportunities. Your detailed needs analyses lead to accurate, value-rich proposals that drive conversions. You’ve built strong client relationships and are seen as a trusted advisor in your territory. As your book of business grows, you’re supporting the onboarding of additional team members while maintaining strategic focus and performance.
