  • Flexibility: There’s no minimum or maximum funding amount per project
  • Multi-year projects: These are welcome, giving organizations the opportunity to plan for long-term impact

  • Applications close: 5:00 PM, March 15, 2024

Eligibility criteria

To qualify for funding, your organization must fall under one of these categories:

  • Indigenous governments in the NWT
  • Community governing authorities, such as Band Councils, Métis Locals, Charter Communities, or municipal councils
  • Non-government organizations with demonstrated partnerships or support from Indigenous or community governing authorities

 

Important notes:

  • Projects must be based in the NWT
  • GNWT entities (schools, health centers, etc.) are not eligible to apply directly but can partner with eligible applicants

 

How do you apply?

It’s simple:

  1. Complete the application form
  2. Submit it via email to anti-poverty@gov.nt.ca

 

Applications should clearly outline your project’s goals, partnerships, and expected outcomes.
