Removing barriers and creating inclusive spaces shouldn’t be a challenge for organizations—it should be an opportunity. That’s where the Manitoba Accessibility Fund (MAF) steps in. Ready to learn how this fund can help you make a meaningful difference? Let’s dive in!
What Is the Manitoba Accessibility Fund?
The Manitoba Accessibility Fund provides grants to organizations in Manitoba to help them remove barriers and create accessible spaces for everyone. The fund supports projects that align with The Accessibility for Manitobans Act by focusing on these key areas:
- Customer Service: Making goods and services accessible.
- Employment: Removing barriers to hiring, recruiting, and retaining employees.
- Information and Communications: Improving access to information in print, online, and in person.
Who runs it? - Managed by The Winnipeg Foundation and launched in 2021 with a $20 million investment.
- Administered by Manitoba’s Department of Families.
